JETSET

Jetset - 14.31/2 hh, born 20th October, 1982.  A black largre galloway mare of great quality and movement, bred by Wally Christensen of Lone Pine Stud at Booyal Qld on Rivoli Ray (Australian Stock Horse) bloodlines. She was broken in by Elva Christensen, shown locally and then sold to Paul Dinning from Victoria in 1993 who leased her to Greg and Mike to show.
Her major wins including the Crane Trophy at Sydney Royal in 1995 and Queensland Horse of the Year winner in 1993 and 1994.  Jetset epitomised quality in the ring and had just spectacular movement.
After Jet won in Sydney, Paul sold her to Tina Paquet (granddaughter of the famous jockey, Geogre Moore) to show on the condition that when her show career ended she be returned to Greg and Mike for breeding and retirement.
Jet had two foals, Smithfields Ferrari and Smithfields First Class, both of which were successfully shown locally.
